The ENACT Web App Prizes will be awarded to the people who upload the best cultural activities for language learning using the ENACT ‘CREATE’ author software during the period 1 July to 1 December 2025. There are 7 prizes, each of a minimum of £100. All winners will also receive an ENACT Web App Gold Certificate.
- One prize is for Best Materials for a New Language and Culture. This must be for a language which does not already feature on ENACT as of July 1, 2025.
- One prize is for Best Materials in an Endangered Language and Culture. This should be for a language on a list of endangered languages, e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lists_of_endangered_languages. This must be for a language which does not already feature on ENACT as of July 1, 2025.
- One prize is for Best Materials produced by a Child or Group of Children (under 18 years).
- One prize is for Best Materials produced by a NEST volunteer(s).
- One prize is for the Most Economical or Budget-Friendly Materials
- One prize is for Materials showing the most Innovative Use of AI
- One prize is for the Most Sustainable/Environmentally Sound Materials

Then email us on enacteuropa@newcastle.ac.uk to say you wish to enter the 2025 ENACT Web App contest. Give us a) your name b) the name and language of your cultural activity as it appears on ENACT c) which of the prizes you are entering for d) your preferred email address for contact.
